Delta4T – our 4th generation cooling technology
OptiCool has rapidly accelerated the development of its groundbreaking Delta T4© technology. This progress has been made possible by leveraging our core team of engineers alongside over 200 engineers and technicians from our parent company, Calvary Robotics. By integrating this collective expertise with advanced AI modeling software, we’ve effectively condensed years of development into a significantly shorter timeline.
Delta T refers to the phase change that happens when liquid refrigerant is converted to gas and back again. OptiCool is the first to commercialize the use of refrigerant as a direct heat sink, leveraging the Delta T conversion cycle. Traditionally, refrigerants have been used in systems like air conditioners and refrigeration units, where cold air is simply blown into a room or enclosed space.
Liquid refrigerant offers a heat convection rate up to five times greater than that of water. This makes refrigerant the best medium for cooling when used as a heat sync when compared to water or any other material today.

We are dedicated to American-made technology and in-house manufacturing and assembly, backed by hands-on installation and support. We design, develop, manufacture, market and support our products in our headquarters and 250,000 ft2 manufacturing facility in Webster, New York. OptiCool is privately held and part of an industrial and mechanical engineering group of companies that includes Calvary Robotics and CGS Precision Technologies.
