Refrigerant Pumps – Chilled Water
The RPW pumps refrigerant to the RDHx cooling fans and rejects the extracted heat to the facilities chilled water system.
Best-in-class precision cooling
The RPW supplies refrigerant for up to 40 active heat exchange (AHX) units. It is a highly reliable, oil-free, non-toxic, non-conductive, and non-corrosive closed loop system.
The primary loop is connected to the facilities chilled water supply for external heat rejection.
The secondary loop supplies R-513A. refrigerant to AHX units which are mounted on the racks’ rear doors, or above the racks for aisle containment designs. With a maximum distance of 185 feet between the RPW and the AHX units, the RPW can be located at the end-of-aisle or in an adjacent room to free up floor space
